yes, because you turn the nipple (the nut), which you turn from the back end.
It's like tightening a screw from the the threaded end, you have to turn counter clockwise We have a worldcup class 4X track here at Mont-Sainte-Anne It's crazy how some riders went through the time and the development of the sport. They were there when MTB was about rigid steel bikes, and they are still there when MTB is about double-suspension alu/carbon bikes...and all the steps in-between! I also like to watch some videos of Steve Peat from back in the days, it was a totally different game!
